Driving The east of Thailand has an excellently maintained and structured roads network which makes traveling by car a great way to see the region. However, like everywhere in Thailand the road rules are basically ignored so extra care and vigilance is essential when driving in Thailand, one must be prepared for the most absurd motoring manoeuvres at all times.
Motorbike riding can also be a great way to see the east, but again extreme caution must exercised when riding in Thailand, the tourist casualty figures for motorcycle accidents is alarming to say the least.
